    In 1902, St. John’s adopted a slogan which was:
​“Ever Forward With Christ." 

We are not to be ahead of Christ,
being his adviser to tell him what to do.

We are not to be far behind Christ,
expecting him to do it all for us.

Praying each day for His guidance of our steps,
we are to walk at His side and include in our prayers:

"Lord, how can You help me to help others whom You love?"
